New Custom Timelines feature introduced on X (formerly Twitter); Early access available to Premium subscribers in iOS
In recent years, we have seen numerous changes and new features being introduced on the X platform (formerly Twitter). Today, a new feature was announced for the platform- Custom Timelines, which is said to be one of the biggest changes for X.
Custom Timelines on X
This feature allows users to pin a specific topic to their home tap, with support for over 75 topics like design, photography, cryptocurrency or sports. According to X’s head of product, Nikita Bier, the feature is powered by Grok’s understanding of every post with the algorithm’s personalisation, and it works even better when it’s a topic you already engage with.

Further in the comment section, he also mentioned that the company is working on supporting religions for this feature, and it is expected to be rolled out in the next 2 weeks.
Early access to this feature is given to Premium subscribers on iOS, while the feature is said to be made available soon for Android users as well.
Apart from customising your home tab, the company has also rolled out a tool to snooze topics on your For You tab.
