LibreOffice 25.2

The Document Foundation has released LibreOffice 25.2.7, marking the final maintenance update for the LibreOffice 25.2 branch. With the 25.2 series reaching the end of its support cycle, users are encouraged to upgrade to LibreOffice 25.8.x, which continues to receive regular updates and long-term support.

What’s New in LibreOffice 25.2.7

Here’s a summary of the main fixes included in this update:

  • Fixed text strings that were not appearing correctly in localised versions
  • Corrected misalignment in the “Grammar By” column for user-defined dictionaries
  • Fixed an issue where the COUNTIFS() function returned incorrect results with decimal numbers
  • Resolved a crash related to string handling in the software core
  • Restored EMF object transparency that was lost in earlier builds
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when opening certain files
  • Resolved a crash in Impress when printing notes containing specific content

Since LibreOffice 25.2.7 is the final release of the 25.2 series, The Document Foundation strongly recommends users upgrade to LibreOffice 25.8.x. The newer branch offers continued maintenance, better compatibility, and additional performance improvements across all office applications.
