The Indian audio streaming service – JioSaavn has now officially announced its new Music Profile feature. This latest feature is built around personalization and discovering one’s musical identity, and promises a more engaging and self-expressive music streaming experience for listeners.

JioSaavn’s Music Profile Feature – Now Official
With this new feature, JioSaavn is transforming the listening activity of users into a unique identity called their ‘Music Persona’, which will be available under the newly-introduced Music Profile section.
Furthermore, based on their streaming habits, listeners will also be awarded Music Persona badges ranging from Punjabi Murid to Bollywood Bhakt, Hip Hop Hustler to Telugu Abhimani, among many more. This will allow users to showcase their music personality, while also discovering content that matches with their tastes.
Speaking more, users will be able to achieve milestones based on the number of songs streamed, artists discovered, and playlists created. Built using listening insights and engagement patterns, Music Profile will create insights based on each user’s streaming behaviour. Favourite genres, moods, top songs, and artists will be shown, along with weekly and monthly summaries to help users understand and track their evolving music preferences over time.

The new Music Profile feature will also allow audiences to update their current status and highlight their favourite artists on their profile. Listeners will also be able to access their favourite artists’ new releases in their personalized library.

As a part of the experience, users can also choose a unique handle, enabling them to build a public-facing profile that reflects their listening personality. They will also be able to showcase playlists, favourite artists, and share music preferences, turning music streaming into a more self-expressive experience.
On the JioSaavn app, users can access their Music Profile from the Library section on Android devices and from the Profile section on iOS devices. The feature is available across Android, iOS, and Web.
