Speech Translation in Google Meet for Android and iOS apps
The Speech Translation feature allows audio to be translated in other languages in near-real time, helping global teams communicate more naturally and removing language barriers. The feature supports bidirectional translation between English and Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Italian.
For now, only one language pair (e.g., English<-> Spanish) can be active in a meeting at a time. Users in conference rooms can hear translations, but their own speech will not be translated. It is revealed that users can expect visual updates to the user interface, as well as refinements to translation accuracy and nuance.
Admins should note that the speech translation feature will be ON by default and can be disabled/enabled at the organisational unit (OU) level.

The gradual rollout for this feature has already started (up to 15 days for feature visibility). The feature is available for-
