Google Chrome Autofill Gets New Upgrade for Android and iOS Users; Google Wallet Integration Deepened

The tech giant – Google has now announced a new upgrade for its Chrome Autofill feature across Android and iOS devices.

Check out more about it below.

Google Chrome Autofill – New Upgrade

With this latest upgrade, Chrome Autofill will now be able to automatically fill more complex data types, including flight details and vehicle information such as license plate and VIN.

Speaking more, Google has confirmed that these Autofill capabilities are now being extended to Android and iOS users. Google is also deepening its integration with Google Wallet across mobile and desktop. Chrome can now automatically fill forms using data that is stored in a user’s Google Wallet. These details include driver’s license information, passport information, and Known Traveler Number.

Also, if these details are not already stored in Google Wallet, users will be able to save them there when they enter the information in Chrome for the first time. This should make it easier for users to access and use such details again in the future.

In terms of privacy and security, Chrome will only save or fill information with the user’s permission. As always, sensitive data will remain encrypted. Users will also be able to manage or update their data from Google Wallet settings or from the ‘Autofill and passwords’ page in Chrome settings.

Also to note is that the Private passes, such as IDs, can be managed through their own controls.
