8-Year old girl dies in Kerala as mobile phone explodes in her face : Kerala police

With the passing years, the mobile industry has witnessed the introduction of new innovations and technology, hence the consumers are provided with some hi-tech devices. But is this advancement of technology taking place at the stake of an individual’s life?

Today an 8-year-old girl named, Adithyashree who is a resident of Thiruvilvamala, Kerala died due to the explosion of her mobile phone. As per the police, the girl was using the phone and it exploded at around 10:30 pm on her face and she died on the spot.

A forensic examination of the phone is being done to know the exact cause of the explosion. But the police assumed that overheating of the battery might be the reason.

Our founder Mohit Gadhok has also expressed his concerns over this matter via Twitter. He also suggested that smartphone brands make smartphones that are safer.

This is not the first time that the case of a smartphone explosion has come up. Earlier also there have been many cases but it is definitely the first time that the explosion caused an 8-year-old her life.

Smartphone brands should look into it so that they not only provide hi-tech devices with improved battery life but they should also take into consideration the safety of their users also.
