SwaRail App Reintroduced as RailOne With New Name and Logo: ‘The Super App of Indian Railways’

A little more than a month after making the SwaRail app (beta version) available to both iOS and Android users, it has been re-introduced today with a new name and new logo. The new app which is being called the ‘The Super App of Indian Railways’ is now available for download on Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store in India.

RailOne – Now Available on App Store and Play Store
Today, on the 1st of July 2025, Union Minister – Ashwini Vaishnaw has reintroduced the SwaRail app to the general public with a new name and new logo. It is called RailOne, and has been unveiled as a comprehensive app that streamlines all passenger services and meets all user needs. Thus, ‘The Super App of Indian Railways’ is a one stop destination and aims to bring more convenience to passengers.
Speaking more, the app also offers an enhanced user experience to its users with the uncluttered user interface and the straightforward approach that has been maintained. As all railway services are integrated onto a single app, the need for multiple apps has also been eradicated. The single sign-in option and the sign-in with existing RailConnect/UTSonMobile credentials are also added features. The sign-up process is also quite easy and can be done without any difficulties and for inquiries, a guest mode is there as well.
About its available services, users will be able to book train tickets (reserved/unreserved/platform tickets), check PNR, track live train status, find coach positioning, and more with the help of the new RailOne app. Also, the R-Wallet or Railway e-wallet functionality lets users access their account either using biometric login or mPIN.
As mentioned, the RailOne app has already been made available via the App Store and the Play Store on both iOS and Android devices. Indian users can now download it via the respective application store on their devices and enjoy all railway-related services on a single platform.
