Nothing has removed the Nothing Chats beta from Play Store due to this

London-based tech company Nothing CEO Carl Pei recently announced Nothing Chats which the company says is the “solution to one of the biggest frustrations between Android and iOS users”.

With the announcement of this app, the app was made available for Phone(2) users in the US, Canada, UK, and EU. Now a new update has come in this regard from the company.

As per the Nothing they have removed Nothing Chats beta from the Play Store. The company announced that it will be delaying the launch “until further notice to work with Sunbird to fix several bugs”. Nothing has apologised for the delay. Other than launching the app Carl Pei also asked Tim Cook to consider adopting RCS for security and interoperability.

A day after this an Apple spokesperson made a statement to 9to5Mac that said they would be adding support for RCS Universal Profile. Nothing sharing the report on X wrote “Looks like they got the message”.
