Microsoft Now Rolling Out New Features for Copilot+ PCs: Recall, Improved Windows Search, and Click to Do

Starting from the 25th of April 2025, Microsoft is rolling out three new features for its Copilot+ PC users, promising an even better user experience. These new features are revealed to enhance the productivity of its users by helping them focus more on what they really like/want.
Check out the newly introduced Copilot+ PC features and their availability details below.
Recall
The Recall feature was previously made available to Copilot+ PC users as a preview, and it was introduced to address the frustration that many of us have went through – finding out where you last left off. Be it anything, users had to rely on their vague memories to find it out. With Recall, Microsoft aims to bring an end to this, making it much easier to search and rediscover the needed contents.
Using Recall, users will be able to retrieve their digital memory and retrace their steps back by scrolling through the timeline or by describing the content. This reduces the time taken to reengage back to the work by about 70%. Also to add, Recall is an opt-in feature and assures user privacy and control. It also processes information locally and no data is shared with Microsoft or other third parties.
Improved Windows Search
With the improved Windows Search capability, users won’t have to keep in their mind the names of files or where they have been saved. By describing the required file, Windows will understand what is being asked for and find it for its users, whether in File Explorer, Windows Search box, or in Settings. Thanks to the 40+ TOPS neural processing unit, the contextual meaning of both words and phrases can also be understood by Windows, making search intuitive and natural.
Click to Do
Just like Recall, Click to Do was also previously introduced as a preview version. With Click to Do, actions like rewriting, summarizing, or copying texts and images can be performed. It is simple to use, and easily accessible everywhere. With Windows + Click combination key, swipe from right to left on a touch screen device, or by searching for the Click to Do icon, it can be launched and users will be able to access the available actions.
On all the Copilot+ PCs, the Click to Do image actions are currently available, while the Click to Do text actions will initially be rolled out to the Snapdragon X series-powered devices first, and later to AMD Ryzen and Intel PCs in the coming few months.
Availability
The above mentioned exclusive Copilot+ PC features will be made available with the April 2025 Windows non-security preview update, and via the controlled feature roll-out (CFR), the features will be gradually rolling out.
Just to add, Microsoft’s Live Captions is also now revealed to support Simplified Chinese across 27 different languages, both for audio and video.
