Meta has silently unveiled a new standalone app called Forum. It is currently listed on the App Store for iOS users.

The app is listed as a Facebook app that gives a dedicated space built for deeper discussions, real answers, and the communities users care about. You need to sign in with your Facebook account and your groups, profile and activity carry over. You have the option to post with a nickname. Your groups will still exist on Facebook, and anything you share on the Forum will be visible in your groups on Facebook.
Your Forum app’s feed is built around conversations from groups. There is also an Ask feature that pulls together responses from groups, so you can get answers right from people who have been there and join the conversation.
Admins will have access to all their tools on Facebook, and now they also have an admin AI assistant on the Forum to help manage their groups, moderate content, and keep their communities healthy.
It is compatible with iOS 18.0 or later and supports English and 33 more languages. Reportedly, the app is under testing at the moment.
