Instagram has rolled out a new exciting feature to the users that lets you better describe yourself with a song. You could do this earlier also with the help of a story or by adding just a song in the note section. This newly added feature gives you the option to add a song to your profile that will appear just below your profile picture with the play button and song name. The song will not autoplay on opening the profile of the users it needs to be played by tapping on it.

Now comes the question, how would a user add a song to their profile? You just need to go to the “Edit Profile” section where you will find the “Music” section. As soon as you tap on it you see “Pick a song for your profile”. You can search the song based on the genres, moods, and themes. When you select a song you can select a 30-second portion of the song and add it to your profile. Instagram has collaborated with the pop star Sabrina Carpenter for this feature. Her Instagram profile shows the never-heard song “Taste” which is ahead of its official launch.
