Copilot Assistant now available for Android users

Microsoft has been experimenting with various new features for Copilot and has also released various updates to make it a better choice for users. Yesterday the company officially introduced a new feature called Copilot Pages in Copilot Chat, designed for multilayer collaboration.

And yesterday the company made yet another exciting announcement for Copilot users. Copilot assistant is now available for Android users.

Earlier this functionality was available only for beta users but is now released for all Android users officially. The feature is expected to be available for all users over the next few days.

With the help of the Copilot assistant, Android users can now set alarms, send texts, order a ride, make calls, and even ask questions about the article they are reading. To set up Copilot as your Assistant, make sure you have installed the Microsoft Copilot app on your Android device. After that, go to settings > Set Copilot as your assistant. This will allow users to access Copilot without reaching out to the app every time they have a query or need some help with the AI assistant.

Now all you need to do, is long press your power button, or swipe to launch a voice session to activate the assistant and complete your desired task. Microsoft has also said to release some more features for Copilot Assistant shortly.
