Xbox Cloud Gaming Recent Server Connectivity Issue Fixed: However, Certain Users Still Report it to be Down

Quite recently, Xbox users started facing difficulties in launching Cloud Gaming titles due to a possible server connectivity issue and acknowledging it, Xbox Support via its X handle shared that the issue will be investigated and fixed. As promised, the brand has shared that the issue has been rectified and the service is now live again.

Xbox Cloud Gaming – Server Connectivity Issue Fixed

Following the outage that Xbox Cloud Gaming users experienced yesterday (Sunday on the 4th of May 2025), frustrated users took the matter to social media platforms, posting and reporting on what has happened and what they are going through. Players had difficulties launching Xbox Cloud Gaming titles, even though the service was still green and revealed to be operational. Also, it has been reported that 700+ complaints were registered due to the issue, pointing out the gravity of the issue and the number of users affected by it.

As mentioned, via its official X handle, Xbox Support came forward to acknowledge the matter and said that the issue will be investigated, and users were advised to stay tuned to the status page for updates. A few hours after this, the brand has shared that the matter has been fixed and users wouldn’t be facing any more issues connecting to the Cloud Gaming server.

It should however be noted that still certain users have posted that it is still down and not working for them. Probably, with some more time, the issue may be fixed and rectified for everyone, and affected users will soon be able to access their Xbox Cloud Gaming titles.
