PUBG: Battlegrounds Console Service Update 38.2 to Roll-Out on 13th November 2025, Marking the Transition to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

As earlier announced back in August 2025, PUBG: Battlegrounds will be ending the support for PS4 and Xbox One consoles with its next service update 38.2 that will be rolled out next week, and it will also be marking the transition to newer console generations like PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The transition details as well as the special rewards that will be offered as part of it have now been announced.

PUBG: Battlegrounds Console Service Update 38.2 – Transition Details and Rewards
As mentioned, the PUBG: Battlegrounds Console Service Update 38.2 will be rolled out on the 13th of November 2025 and following which, the Xbox Series S will support 1080p/1440p resolution + 60fps/30fps frames, Xbox Series X will support 2160p resolution + 60fps frames, PlayStation 5 will support 144op resolution + 60fps frames, and PlayStation 5 Pro will support 2160p resolution + 60fps frames. The roll-out time frame is mentioned to be in between 01:00 ~ 12:00 UTC (may be subject to change) on the 13th of November 2025, and the pre-load start time is noted to be on the 12th of November 2025 at 02:00 UTC.
Coming to the rewards, PUBG: Battlegrounds players on Xbox One and PS4 consoles who creates their accounts prior to the service update which will be going live on the 13th of November 2025 will be eligible to receive PUBG Icons Parachute, Desolate Military Base (Nameplate), and PUBG Graffiti (Emblem). These rewards will be automatically added to the users inventory. Special bundles for PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass members, as well as a future discount on Battlegrounds Plus are also there.
Furthermore, after the Update 38.2, console-exclusive events are also planned, and these will be opened to all players (new, returning, and current). Also, players can win 500 G-coin too by inviting a new or returning player back to the game.
