With AMD Ryzen Pro 6000 processor and OLED Display Acer launches Slimmest and lightest 16-inch: Swift Edge laptops
Acer is stepping up its game in the business sector by bringing business-related features to the Swift Edge series. This laptop will come with AMD Ryzen Pro 6000.
According to Acer’s internal market report, the Swift Edge series is the world’s slimmest and lightest 16-inches laptop. It comes with an ultra-slim magnesium-aluminum chassis sporting a 12.95 mm (0.51 inches) profile.
The weight of the slimmest 16-inch laptop is 1.17Kg. What makes it even better is the OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR-ready 500 nit peak brightness, and an amazing visual because of the 16:10 4K (3840 x 2400) display.
Acer chooses Ryzen 6000 series because of its multilevel security and has options like Ryzen 5 Pro 6650U, Ryzen 7 Pro 6850U, Ryzen 5 6600U, and Ryzen 7 6800U.
The maximum RAM capacity for the Swift Edge series is 32GB LPDDR5 and internal storage with NVMe SSD capacity of up to 1TB.
Connectivity –
The swift Edge series does not come with any GbE jacks due to its slimness. It does feature fast Wi-Fi 6E connectivity with Bluetooth V5.2
It comes with 2 USB-C 3.2 ports, 2 USB-A 3.2 ports, an HDMI 2.1 video output, and a headphone jack.
According to the product page, the Swift Edge comes with a USB4 instead of USB-C 3.2. This port might be available in the expensive versions of the laptop.
The battery capacity is unknown for now.
The Acer Swift Edge (SFA 16-41) will be available in the month of October North America at a launch price of $ 1,499.99. In the regions of EMEA the launch price of 1,499.
