Along with the X200 Ultra and X200s smartphone devices, two new tablet models – the Vivo Pad 5 Pro and Vivo Pad SE were also unveiled by Vivo at the recent product launch event held in China. The pre-order for both these devices are currently live in the Chinese market, and the official sale is also set to begin this month in April 2025.

Vivo Pad 5 Pro
Vivo’s Pad 5 Pro tablet is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 processor and it is integrated with the Immortalis-G925 GPU. The device is also coupled with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1/UFS 4.0 storage. Also, it comes with the Android 15 based OriginOS 5 for Pad out of the box.
A large 13.1″ LCD LTPS display is featured on the device with 3:2 aspect ratio. It supports 3.1K (3096 x 2064 pixels) resolution, 30/48/60/90/120/144Hz adaptive refresh rate, 1200 nits peak brightness, and up to 480Hz touch sampling rate. At the rear, a 13MP primary camera is given. A front-facing camera of 8MP is also there on the device.
Regarding the battery, a 12050 mAh large battery is packed within it, supporting 66W wired fast charging feature. WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C Gen 3.2, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, eight-speaker unit, Vivo Pencil 2 support (sold separately), 289.56 x 198.32 x 5.96 / 6.07 mm dimension, and 578 /635 gm weight are other key specs. Four color choices are available for the device – Light Feather White, Cloud Pink, Spring Tide Blue, and Cold Star Grey.
About the pricing, the Vivo Pad 5 Pro is priced at CNY 2999 for 8GB/128GB, CNY 3099 for 8GB/256GB, CNY 3399 for 12GB/256GB, CNY 3699 for 12GB/512GB, and CNY 3899 for 16GB/512GB. Two Ultralight variants are also available priced at CNY 3899 for 12GB/256GB and CNY 4399 for 16GB/512GB.
As mentioned, the pre-order for the Vivo Pad 5 Pro is now live, and the official sale will begin on the 25th of April 2025. For the Ultralight variants, it will be beginning on the 29th of April 2025.
Vivo Pad SE
The Vivo Pad SE tablet is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, and it comes with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on the Android 15 based OriginOS 5 for Pad custom skin too. A 12.3″ LCD display screen is there on the device, with support for 2464 x 1600 pixels resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.
Two 5MP cameras are also present, each at the rear and front. The device packs an 8500 mAh battery backup and it supports 15W wired fast charging. Other key specs include WiFi 5, Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0, quad speakers, 277.08 x 185.58 x 6.87 mm dimension, and 569 gm weight. Dark Grey, Blue, and Titanium are the available colorways.
Speaking of the pricing and availability details, the tablet is priced at CNY 999, CNY 1299, and CNY 1599 for the 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB storage models. Its pre-order is live and the official sale will be beginning on the 25th of April 2025, this month.
