The Chinese consumer electronics maker, Vivo, has introduced its brand new 45W Dual Port GaN(Gallium Nitride) charger in the Chinese market. The device is currently available for pre-sale, and its official sale starts next week.

Vivo 45W Dual Port GaN Charger Announced
Vivo’s newly announced 45W Dual Port GaN charger features a USB type-C charging port and a USB type-A port, and supports multiple charging protocols like FlashCharge, UFCS, PD3.0, and QC 2.0. The device also has a foldable plug point design, offering more convenience to its users.
Speaking about its power delivery, the type-C port delivers 45W charging speed, while the type-A port delivers a 44W charging speed. When simultaneously used, the type-C port and type-A port will offer 35W and 10W charging speeds, respectively.
Also to add, the latest 45W Dual Port GaN charger is also built with 9 layer meticulous protection. The device is thus safe guarded from various issues such as overtemperature, overvoltage, under-voltage, overcurrent, lightning, short circuits, electrostatic discharge, electromagnetic fields, and no-load circumstances.
Along with the 45W Dual Port GaN charger, Vivo is also offering a dual USB type-C 5A data cable with a cable length of 1.2 meter. The data cable is also integrated with an E-Mark chip too.
The 45W Dual Port GaN charger from Vivo has a retail price of CNY 149(~USD 21), and the device is currently made available for pre-sale in China. It’s official sale will begin on the 21st of November 2023, and during the pre-sale period and in the first week of official sale, a CNY 30 off will be offered to the customers, bringing the price of the charger to CNY 119(~USD 16).
