Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Watch Move in India, marking its first locally manufactured smartwatch. Priced at ₹1,999, this feature-rich wearable offers a 1.85-inch AMOLED display, Bluetooth calling, and up to 14 days of battery life. The watch is designed to cater to the needs of Indian users, with support for Hindi language and India-inspired watch faces.

Features and specifications
The Redmi Watch Move sports a 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a 390×450 resolution, 600 nits peak brightness, and a 60Hz refresh rate. It features a 2.5D curved glass panel and supports Always-On Display (AOD), providing a sharp and smooth viewing experience even under bright sunlight.
Built with user convenience in mind, it comes with a functional rotating crown that allows easy navigation through tap, scroll, and long-press gestures. These include quick access to AI Q&A, powering off, or restarting the device. The smartwatch also supports Palm Touch to Sleep for seamless interaction.
The Watch Move runs on Xiaomi HyperOS, offering a fluid user interface, improved smartwatch-phone sync, floating notifications, task sync, weather alerts, and optimised battery management.
On the fitness side, the smartwatch supports over 140 workout modes, including auto-detection for 7 activities such as outdoor running, walking, treadmill, cycling, rowing machine, elliptical, and jump rope. Xiaomi claims up to 98.5% accuracy for step counting and 97% heart rate tracking accuracy, based on internal testing.
Health monitoring features include:

The device offers up to 14 days of battery life on a full charge, with 10 minutes of charging providing 2 days of use, and 5-day usage with AOD enabled. It is also IP68-rated for water and dust resistance.
Users can choose from over 200 custom watch faces, including festive and India-specific designs, through the Mi Fitness app. The watch also supports 5 editable layout options for further customisation. Straps are made from antibacterial, skin-friendly TPU and are available in four colours: Black Drift, Blue Blaze, Silver Sprint, and Gold Rush, with a quick-release mechanism for easy swapping.

The Redmi Watch Move is priced at ₹1,999, with pre-orders beginning April 24 at 12 PM. It will be available for purchase from May 1 via mi.com, Flipkart, and select retail outlets across India.
