Garmin CIRQA Smart Band – Specifications and Features

Starting with its design, the Garmin CIRQA Smart Band features a screen-free form factor that is aimed at reducing distractions while continuously tracking health, wellness, and workout-related data. Since no display is present on the device, users can view their recorded information through the Garmin Connect app on a compatible Android smartphone or iPhone.

The smart band features a fibre-reinforced polymer case and comes equipped with Garmin’s fabric ComfortFit band, which uses 14mm quick-release pins and supports a 24mm-wide strap. It has been introduced in two sizes S–M, which is for wrist sizes between 120mm and 200mm and L-XL for 145mm to 240mm.

Regarding its durability, the CIRQA Smart Band carries a 5ATM water-resistance rating, allowing it to be used while swimming.

Moving on to its health-monitoring features, the smart band supports continuous wrist-based heart-rate tracking, resting heart-rate monitoring, and high- and low-heart-rate alerts along with Pulse Ox monitoring, respiration rate, skin temperature, Body Battery energy monitoring, all-day stress, and fitness age.

The device offers advanced sleep monitoring with sleep stages, sleep score and insights, Sleep Coach, sleep alignment, breathing variations, nap detection, and heart-rate variability status.

Women’s health features such as menstrual-cycle and pregnancy tracking, along with improved period predictions and past ovulation estimates based on skin-temperature readings recorded during sleep, come with it.

The device also supports a wheelchair mode, under which wheelchair pushes are recorded instead of steps. Wheelchair-specific activities and workouts are also available, while the push-tracking feature works when the device is worn on the wrist.

More than 80 activity profiles are supported, including strength training, HIIT, cardio, elliptical training, indoor rowing, running, trail running, hiking, cycling, pool swimming, rowing, kayaking, tennis, badminton, cricket, football, boxing, skiing, snowboarding, golf, yoga, Pilates, meditation, and breathwork.

Speaking of its connectivity, the device supports Bluetooth and ANT+ technologies, along with real-time setting synchronisation through the Garmin Connect mobile application. A Find My Garmin feature is also given to help locate the band when it is misplaced.

Powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, it is claimed to offer up to 10 days of usage on a single charge and it also has a battery-saver mode, although it cannot be customised. 128MB of internal memory is given with this device.
