In 2023, Reliance Jio introduced its first tracking device called JioTag in India, and now, three years later, the company has introduced the successor to this device, JioTag.
JioTag 2: Availability
The device is priced at Rs 1,249, and it is available for purchase via Amazon.
JioTag 2: Features
This tracking device is usable with both Android (Google Find Hub) and iOS (Apple Find My). No SIM/recharge is required to use this device; it works seamlessly with Bluetooth Low Energy. The device is designed to help users locate personal items such as keys, wallets, luggage, backpacks and electronic gadgets.

The tracker features a built-in 120 dB speaker to help find your things when inside Bluetooth range; users can trigger a “Play Sound” command via their connected app to audibly locate items nearby. While users can get directions on maps when outside Bluetooth range, it utilises community-based location. It communicates securely with billions of surrounding Android and iOS devices on the Apple Find My and Google Find Hub networks to relay its remote location back to the owner.
You can activate “Lost Mode” on your connected app to let Android or iOS users on the network help locate your lost item. Whether it’s keys, bags, vehicles or gadgets, JioTag’s compact design attaches effortlessly to anything valuable. It comes with IP64 water and dust resistance. Users can enjoy up to 1+1 years of battery life.
