The Future Technology Conference 2022, commonly known as OPPO INNO DAY 2022, will begin at 1:30 PM IST on December 14. The efforts of OPPO in new concept devices for health monitoring, robotics, and semiconductors will be highlighted during the event.
In terms of semiconductors, OPPO unveiled the MariSilicon X image NPU last year, which enhances user experience in various ways as well as imaging. Although OPPO MariSilicon Y, an audio-specific chipset, will formally launch this year, it may be the successor of a new image processor.
In this context, MariSilicon Y’s primary capacity to enhance the sound quality of Bluetooth headphones was publicly published on YouTube by OPPO India. However, the video was later removed as per Gizmochina.
The OPPO MariSilicon Y Bluetooth audio chip enables customized spatial audio, using TSMC N6RF process, 24-bit/192kHz ultra-high quality lossless audio, up to 12Mbps bandwidth, AI algorithm up to 590 GOPS, support for local Music Extraction technology, and can be integrated into Bluetooth earbuds.
