OnePlus Pad 2 with 12.1-inch 3K LCD Display, MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC and AnTuTu Score of 3 Million Launched in China
OnePlus has launched its new tablet, the OnePlus Pad 2, in its home market, China, alongside the OnePlus 15 and the OnePlus Ace 6.

It comes with a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a 3K resolution and a 7:5 aspect ratio. The display supports an adaptive refresh rate that can go up to 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 540Hz. It offers a typical brightness of 600 nits and can reach 900 nits under high brightness. The screen covers 98% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and supports 1.07 billion colours.
Under the hood, it has a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor with eight cores and a maximum clock speed of 3.7GHz. Graphics are handled by the Immortalis G925 MC12 GPU. It comes with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. On AnTuTu, it has managed to achieve a score of around 3 million points. It runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.

It has an 8-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front selfie shooter. The rear camera supports video recording in 4K, 1080p, and 720p at 30 frames per second. It also includes stabilisation and a super anti-shake mode at 1080p.
The OnePlus Pad 2 has a 10,420mAh battery (typical) and supports 67W SuperVOOC fast charging through a USB Type-C port. It is compatible with several charging standards, including UFCS, PPS, and PD. There is no headphone jack, but Type-C digital audio is supported.
For connectivity, the tablet supports Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi 6, and Wi-Fi 5, along with dual-band connections (2.4GHz and 5GHz). It supports Wi-Fi Display, network sharing, USB 3.2 Gen 1, and Bluetooth with codecs like SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, LDAC, and LHDC 5.0.
The tablet has a full-metal body measuring 266.93 x 193.35 x 5.99mm and weighs about 579 grams. It includes sensors such as ambient light, colour temperature, accelerometer, gyroscope, and Hall sensor. Face unlock is available for quick access.
It supports features such as multi-window operation, real-time handwriting beautification, AI-based note extraction, and PC-style WPS Office. OnePlus claims it will maintain smooth performance for up to 60 months of use.
Pricing and Availability
The OnePlus Pad 2 has been launched with two colour options, Sky Blue and Dark Grey. And you will get three memory options of 8GB RAM with 256GB storage for 2,799 Chinese yuan, 12GB RAM with 256GB storage for 3,099 Chinese yuan, and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage for 3,599 Chinese yuan.
Open sales will begin on 30 October 2025 at 10:00 AM in China. Early buyers will get a free one-year screen protection offer, student discounts, and a trade-in bonus of up to ¥100.
Two accessories are also available: the OnePlus Keyboard Cover priced at ¥699 and the OnePlus Stylus Pro priced at ¥499.
