Motorola had very recently teased the soon arrival of its Moto Tag compact Bluetooth tracking device for its Indian customers and now, the sale date in the country has been announced.

Moto Tag – Sale Going Live on 23rd April 2025 in India
As per what has been shared, the Moto Tag device from Motorola will go on sale tomorrow in the Indian market, on the 23rd of April 2025 at 12 PM noon. It will be made available in two different color choices – Jade Green and Starlight Blue. Also, its landing page has already been listed both on the Flipkart and Motorola official website (for India), and Indian customers will likely be able to purchase it via both these platforms. The device is priced at INR 2,299.
About its key specs, as mentioned the Moto Tag features a compact form factor design and it has a dimension of 31.9mm x 8mm, and weighs only 7.5gm. It has a plastic build and is IP67-rated. On the connectivity side, it supports Bluetooth v5.4 and UWB, and a Bluetooth connectivity range of up to 100 meters is claimed for the device. Users can connect it with Android 9.0 and up running devices, and seamless connectivity is guaranteed.
The device equips a replaceable battery (‘CR2032’) within it, and a year-long battery life can be expected. A dedicated button is also present on the device, which can act as a camera remote and it will also help users to find their misplaced mobile devices. End to end encryption and unapproved tagging notification are its privacy and security features.
