Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Specs Teased: Snapdragon 8 Elite, Three-Sided Micro-Curved Main Display, and Latest Keel Hinge; YU7 Comfort Features and Redmi K80 Ultra Display Specs Also Teased
Ahead of its Full Ecosystem Conference scheduled for this week, the Chinese tech maker – Xiaomi has teased the specifications and features of the upcoming Mix Flip 2 foldable smartphone. Along with it, a few more teaser updates concerning the YU7 SUV and Redmi K80 Ultra smartphone have also been shared via its official Weibo handle.

Xiaomi Mix Flip 2
As per what has been officially shared, Xiaomi’s Mix Flip 2 smartphone is teased as the ‘perfect small folding flagship’ and it is revealed to feature a perfect texture, three-sided equal-depth micro-curved display, and metal frosted middle frame. A new hinge structure, flat cover display, and the dual individual rear camera modules are also teased features of the device.
In terms of specs, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip will power the device, and it will be packing a 5165 mAh battery within it. The cover display has a size of 4.01″, and the cameras are tuned by Leica. Also, a compact from factor design is offered on the next-gen flip-phone with a 7.57 mm thickness and 199 gm weight. Moreover, the anti-drop capability of this upcoming device has been significantly improved, thanks to the latest Xiaomi Keel Hinge, industry’s first three-level connecting rod + four floating plates structure, and the 6.86″ 50μm ultra-tough flexible glass. Notably, even after 200,000 folds, the device was tested to have less than 50μm of crease.
To add, three color variants can be expected for the device, which include Golden (with checkered pattern), Blue (with brush stroke or wave-like pattern), and Green (with a plain finish) color shades.
Xiaomi YU7
About the YU7, the new teasers are pointing to specs such as the silent laminated glass (in all models), immersive quiet cabin with 200+ noise optimizations and 120+ acoustic materials, Motion Sickness Relief mode with tuned power output and efficient chassis suspension, and the 10 Million Clips Version of the brand’s end-to-end assisted driving feature (for all models). In addition to the previously-revealed Emerald Green and Titanium Silver colors, and the newly-revealed Dawn Pink colors, an Orange color shade is also now expected for the SUV.
Redmi K80 Ultra
Finally for the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip powered Redmi K80 Ultra, the brand has confirmed its display specs. Xiaomi’s next Redmi K80 Ultra device will be featuring an upgraded 1.5K high-refresh rate eye-protective 6.83″ display screen with M9 luminescent material, 144Hz refresh rate support, 3200 nits super sunlight brightness rate, full bright DC, circular polarized light, and full-scene low blue light emission.

Regarding the launch of these products, at the Xiaomi Full Ecosystem Conference that is scheduled to take place on the 26th of June 2025 – two days later in China, the Mix Flip 2, YU7, and Redmi K80 Ultra are confirmed to make their debut. Along with these Xiaomi products, the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5 and Redmi K Pad tablets, Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Healthy Wind, Mijia High Speed Hair Dryer Pro, Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 4 Max, and the Mijia Robot Vacuum Mop M40 S are also confirmed to be released.
