The Chinese consumer electronics maker – Xiaomi today officially announced the launch of its Pad 7S Pro 12.5 tablet in China and following which, the Mix Flip 2 smartphone launch has also been confirmed. Just like the brand’s upcoming tablet, the next generation vertically folding smartphone device will be breaking its cover this month in China and its pre-appointment is now live.

Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 – Also Launching in June 2025
As mentioned, following the July 2024-released Xiaomi Mix Flip, the next Mix Flip 2 smartphone jointly being developed by Xiaomi and Leica will be hitting the Chinese market this month in June 2025, and the brand has started to invite the pre-appointment for the upcoming device via its official website (for China). Do note that the brand also recently announced its Pad 7S Pro 12.5 launch in China and it is scheduled to take place at the end of June 2025. From what it seems, that brand could be planning to launch both the Mix Flip 2 smartphone and Pad 7S Pro 12.5 tablet at the same launch event.
Speaking more about Xiaomi’s upcoming Mix Flip 2 device, it was certified by the 3C authority of China two months back, and was revealed to support a 67W wired fast charging feature. Also, it received the EEC certification as well and thus its arrival to the European/global market has been confirmed. In terms of design and features, reportedly a lot of upgrades can be expected this time including a larger battery of 5600 – 5700 mAh. The device may also feature a thin and light form factor design too. Furthermore, it could use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship chipset as per earlier reports, however the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5 tablet is confirmed to come equipped with the brand’s own XRING O1 chip.
