Xiaomi 15 Ultra pre-reservations officially start in China ahead of upcoming launch

Xiaomi 15 Ultra reports and rumors have been creating a lot of buzz in the rumor mill lately and the device is expected to debut soon. The predecessor of this smartphone, Xiaomi 14 Ultra also made its debut at the end of February 2024 in China while the device was launched in March, similarly, Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to debut in China this month while the smartphone could make its debut globally at MWC 2025.
It now appears that very soon we may hear the launch announcement of Xiaomi 15 Ultra in China as its pre-reservations has already started in the country via mi.com.
As seen in the above teaser image, the box of the smartphone is covered with a red cloth. At the bottom of the box, Xiaomi HyperOS branding can be seen while Leica branding can also be seen in the above image. Other than this not much has been revealed officially but previous reports have a lot to say about this upcoming smartphone.

The smartphone has already made its appearance on FCC, 3C, EMVCo, SDPPI, EEC, MIIT, Geekbench, and BIS certification platforms, and the schematic, internal, render, and hands-on images of the device were also shared online.
The device is also expected to feature specs like Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip as well as a small mystery Surge Chip, 6.7″ LTPO OLED micro-curved 120Hz display screen, 6000 mAh battery backup, 90W wired and 80W wireless fast charging support, under-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, dual satellite communication connectivity, and plain leather/glass/ceramic back panel design.
