Vivo Y6e 5G Launched in China With Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, 6500mAh Battery, and 120Hz LCD Display
The Chinese smartphone maker – Vivo had earlier introduced the Vivo Y60 smartphone in its home market, and the same device was further launched as the Vivo Y60m and later as the Vivo Y6t 5G. Now, another smartphone sharing the same spec sheet as that of the Vivo Y60 has been launched in China, and it is called the Vivo Y6e 5G.

Vivo Y6e 5G – Specs and Features
As mentioned, the newly launched Vivo Y6e 5G smartphone has now made its debut in the Chinese market and the device comes equipped with the second-generation Snapdragon 4 mobile platform. The chipset is paired with 6GB LPDDR4X dual-channel RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, and the device also supports 6GB Memory Fusion feature.
Speaking more, the Vivo Y6e 5G features a 6.74″ LCD display with a screen resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels, 20:9 aspect ratio, 260 PPI, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 83% NTSC color saturation, and up to 120Hz refresh rate support. The display also supports 120Hz/180Hz/240Hz screen sampling rate and the brand is also highlighting it as a global flicker-free eye protection screen.
Coming to its cameras, the smartphone sports a 13MP single rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and rear flash support, while for selfies, a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture has been given. The rear camera supports modes such as Night Scene, Portrait, Photo, Video, Panorama, Document Correction, Slow Motion, Time-lapse Photography, Professional, Scanning, and Dynamic Photos, whereas both front and rear cameras support video recording of up to 1080P resolution.
Regarding its battery, the Vivo Y6e 5G packs a large 6500mAh battery with a 5-year lifespan and it supports 15W wired charging. The device also supports OTG reverse charging, but wireless charging is not supported. Notably, the smartphone has also received SGS 5-star drop and shock resistance certification.
Additionally, the smartphone runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Dual nano SIM support, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi Display, MU-MIMO, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, single speaker, side-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor, Face Wake facial recognition, infrared remote control, electronic compass, proximity sensor, photosensitive sensor, and gravity sensor are its other given features. NFC and gyroscope are not supported on the device.
About its design, the Vivo Y6e 5G measures 167.40 × 77.10 × 8.39 mm and weighs 209 grams. It has a plastic middle frame and a composite board back cover.
Vivo Y6e 5G – Pricing and Availability
The Vivo Y6e 5G is currently listed on Vivo’s China website and is available in a single 6GB + 256GB memory option. The device has been introduced in Twilight Black, Sunset Blue, and Flowing Clouds White color choices, and it is priced at CNY 1599 in China.
