In the Chinese market, the Vivo Y600K Turbo smartphone has now been launched, and as previously indicated by its Google Play Console listing, the device arrives as a re-branded version of the Vivo Y600 Turbo. Both smartphones share the same model number of ‘V2553A’, while the Vivo Y600K Turbo has been introduced in a single memory configuration.

Vivo Y600K Turbo – Specifications

As mentioned, the Vivo Y600K Turbo smartphone which carries the model number of ‘V2553A’ has been launched in China, and the device features a 6.83″ flat AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 × 1260 pixels. The display supports 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz refresh rates, along with a 130Hz touch sampling rate and a pixel density of 449 PPI. Additionally, 1.07 billion colours, a P3 wide colour gamut, HDR support, and an 8,000,000:1 contrast ratio have been pointed out. A 20:9 aspect ratio and a 94.47% screen-to-body ratio are also offered.

Speaking about its performance, the Vivo Y600K Turbo is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4nm manufacturing process and paired with an Adreno 810 GPU. The 64-bit octa-core processor features one core clocked at 2.7GHz, three cores clocked at 2.4GHz, and four cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The device also features 12GB of dual-channel LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, with support for up to 12GB of additional virtual RAM through Memory Fusion. However, expandable storage is not supported.

Regarding the cameras, a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus, along with a 2MP depth camera with an f/2.4 aperture, is provided at the rear. The rear camera setup supports up to 10x digital zoom, up to 4K video recording, and a flash. Camera modes which include Night, Portrait, Photo, Video, 50MP, Panorama, Ultra-HD Document, Slow Motion, Time-Lapse, Pro, Food, and Scan are also available.

On the other hand, an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.05 aperture and fixed focus is offered at the front, supporting up to 2x digital zoom and up to 1080p video recording. Night, Portrait, Photo, and Video modes are available for the front camera, although a front flash is not provided. Also to note, both the front and rear cameras support EIS.

About its battery, the Vivo Y600K Turbo packs a typical capacity of 9,020mAh, supporting 90W FlashCharge through a USB Type-C port. Additionally, OTG reverse charging is supported, while wireless charging is not available.

The Vivo Y600K Turbo runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and features IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. The device measures 163.73 × 76.18 × 8.29mm and weighs 215g, with a plastic frame and a composite back panel. An in-display optical fingerprint sensor and facial recognition support are also provided.

Speaking more about its connectivity, dual-SIM support, NFC, OTG, and support for Type-C digital headphones have been included. Navigation features comprise dual-frequency GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC.

Pricing and Availability

Unlike the Vivo Y600 Turbo, the Vivo Y600K Turbo has been introduced in a single 12GB/256GB memory configuration, carrying a price tag of CNY 2,799 in China. Customers will be offered three colour choices – Dune Gold, Millennial Pink, and Electric Blue.
