A new Vivo Y-series smartphone could soon be launched in the Chinese market, as the device has now appeared on the Google Play Console with the Vivo Y600K Turbo moniker.

Starting with the Google Play Console Supported Devices List, the Vivo Y600K Turbo has been spotted with the V2553A model number and PD2553 device code. Both the model number and the device code are the same as those associated with the Vivo Y600 Turbo, which was launched back in May of this year in China, suggesting that the upcoming smartphone could be introduced as its rebranded version, possibly with different memory configurations or colour options.
Moving on to the Google Play Console listing, the smartphone is revealed to feature a display with a resolution of 1260 × 2800 pixels and a screen density of 480 DPI.
The device is listed with the Qualcomm QTI SM7635 processor identifier, having one core clocked at 2.80GHz, four cores operating at 2.60GHz and three cores clocked at 1.80 GHz, paired with an Adreno 732 GPU clocked at 900MHz. While this identifier points towards the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, it has also been associated with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 in certain listings.
The listed core configuration differs from both chipsets. Therefore, the exact processor powering the device cannot be confirmed through this listing alone.
Since the model number and device code suggest that the Vivo Y600K Turbo could be a rebranded Vivo Y600 Turbo, it may feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. However, this remains unconfirmed, and an appearance on the Geekbench database could reveal more details about its processor.
The listing also reveals between 11.8GB and 11.9GB of RAM, suggesting that the tested device features a 12GB RAM configuration. Furthermore, the smartphone is revealed to run on the Android 16 operating system.
Speaking more, Vivo is scheduled to launch its flagship X500 series in China today. The Vivo Y600K Turbo and the previously spotted Vivo Y500K could be introduced after the flagship series, possibly in October. However, Vivo has not yet officially confirmed their respective launch dates for the Chinese market.
