Following its appearance on the Google Play Console supported devices list, Vivo has now launched the Vivo Y600i smartphone in its home market of China. However, the Vivo Y600i AI Edition has not been announced yet.
The Vivo Y500K, which is expected to be a rebranded version of the Vivo Y600i, had also appeared on the supported devices list, but this smartphone has yet to launch.

Vivo Y600i – Specs and Pricing
The Vivo Y600i carries the model number V2617A and has a 6.87″ LCD display with a 1592 × 720 pixels resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. The display supports 16.7 million colours, an 83% NTSC colour gamut and a 1500:1 contrast ratio.
The smartphone is powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, which has an octa-core CPU with two cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six cores at 1.95GHz. It comes with the Adreno 613 GPU, 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, up to 12GB of extended RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The Vivo Y600i has a single 50MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, autofocus, an LED flash and up to 10x digital zoom. The 8MP front camera has an f/2.05 aperture, fixed focus and up to 2x digital zoom. The smartphone also supports video recording at up to 1080p.
On the battery side, the smartphone packs an 8,000mAh battery with a rated capacity of 7,800mAh and supports 44W wired charging and OTG reverse charging. Vivo claims up to 43.9 days of single-SIM 4G standby and up to 25.2 hours of 4G VoLTE calling.
The Vivo Y600i runs OriginOS 6 and has a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include 5G, dual-SIM support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 and a USB Type-C port with USB 2.0 support.
The smartphone supports Type-C digital earphones, although analogue Type-C audio is not supported. Navigation support includes GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and AGPS.
Other features include an infrared remote control, an electronic compass, a proximity sensor, an ambient-light sensor and an accelerometer.
The smartphone measures 169.55 × 79.20mm. The Sky Blue and Midnight Black variants have a thickness of 8.69mm and weigh 229g, while the Starry Sky variant is 8.79mm thick and weighs 230g.
Regarding the pricing, the Vivo Y600i costs CNY 1,999 in China for the 6GB/256GB memory option and comes in Starry Sky, Sky Blue and Midnight Black colour options.
