vivo Y300 GT Launches With 6.78-Inch 144Hz AMOLED Display, Dimensity 8400 SoC, and 7620mAh Battery in China

Vivo has officially launched the vivo Y300 GT in China, and quite frankly, this is just a repackaged version of the iQOO Z10 Turbo. Both smartphones have similar specs, but a key difference lies in the flash memory that I will discuss in this article.

Vivo Y300 GT Specs and Features

The Y300 GT sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2800 × 1260 resolution, and an impressive 5500 nits peak brightness, making it the brightest display vivo has ever released.

Vivo equips the phone with the Dimensity 8400 Full-Blooded Edition—a 4nm octa-core processor clocking up to 3.25GHz—paired with a Mali-G720 GPU. The device offers 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.

While the display, chipset, and battery specs match those of the iQOO Z10 Turbo, vivo uses slower UFS 3.1 flash storage in the Y300 GT. In contrast, iQOO ships the Z10 Turbo with UFS 4.1, currently one of the fastest flash storage standards available in smartphones.

The Y300 GT packs a 7620mAh single-cell lithium-ion battery, supporting 90W fast charging and OTG reverse charging. Vivo claims it can deliver up to 28.5 hours of 4G VoLTE talk time and up to 32.9 days of standby time.

On the rear, the phone features a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 2MP depth sensor, while the 16MP front camera handles selfies. The camera system supports OIS + EIS video stabilisation, 10x digital zoom, and 4K video recording, along with multiple shooting modes such as night scene, ultra-clear document, portrait, and professional.

For connectivity, vivo includes dual 5G SIM support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and full-featured NFC with support for up to 20 card emulations. The phone also supports GPS, Beidou, NavIC, Galileo, QZSS, and GLONASS, and meets military-grade durability standards for drop and water resistance.

Out of the box, the Y300 GT runs OriginOS 15, based on Android 15. Vivo includes features such as ad filtering, scam call prevention, easy phone switching, and a dedicated professional mode designed for delivery personnel and outdoor workers.
