Vivo has now launched its latest X500 series in the Chinese market. The lineup consists of the Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max, and it has also become the first smartphone series from the brand to debut with OriginOS 7.

Vivo X500
The Vivo X500 features a 6.59″ 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display with a resolution of 2750 × 1260 pixels, a variable refresh rate ranging from 30Hz to 144Hz and up to 4,000 nits of peak brightness.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600M processor, paired with the ARM G1-Ultra GPU. It offers 12GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
On the camera side, the device sports a 50MP Sony LYTIA-828 primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP Sony LYTIA-610 Zeiss APO periscope telephoto camera. The telephoto camera supports 3.1× optical zoom and telephoto macro photography, while a 50MP camera is present on the front.
The smartphone also features the Blueprint Imaging Chip V3+ and supports Native 8K Live, 4K Cinematic Live and 4K telephoto slow-motion video recording at 120fps.
On the battery side, the Vivo X500 packs a 7500mAh battery and supports 90W wired, 40W wireless and reverse wireless charging.
The device measures 157.01 × 74.49 × 8.15mm and weighs 213g. It has been introduced in Earth Echo, Sunny Day, Dawn and Night colour options.
Vivo X500 Pro
The Vivo X500 Pro comes with a more compact 6.36″ 1.5K AMOLED display offering a resolution of 2750 × 1260 pixels. It supports a 1Hz to 144Hz LTPO refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness, along with BOE Q11 luminescent material, Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
Powering the smartphone is the 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro processor, coupled with the Mali-G2-Ultra-NX GPU. The device offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
For photography, the Vivo X500 Pro features a 50MP Blueprint 900 primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP Sony LYTIA-610 Zeiss APO periscope telephoto camera. The telephoto camera supports 3.5× optical zoom and telephoto macro photography, while selfies are handled by a 50MP front camera.
The VS1 and V3+ imaging chips have also been included in the device. On the battery side, it packs a 6510mAh battery with support for 90W wired, 40W wireless and reverse wireless charging.
The smartphone measures 151.78 × 71.92 × 7.95mm and weighs 192g.
Vivo X500 Pro Max
The Vivo X500 Pro Max is equipped with a larger 6.85″ 2K AMOLED display offering a resolution of 3168 × 1440 pixels. It supports a 1Hz to 144Hz LTPO refresh rate, up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness, Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The display also uses BOE Q11 luminescent material and features Zeiss Master Colour technology.
Similar to the Pro model, the Vivo X500 Pro Max is powered by the 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro processor and Mali-G2-Ultra-NX GPU. It offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
On the camera side, the smartphone sports a 50MP Blueprint 900 primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 200MP Samsung HP0 Zeiss APO periscope telephoto camera. The telephoto camera supports 3.5× optical zoom, hardware-level 4× in-sensor zoom and the 400mm-equivalent Zeiss G2 Ultra teleconverter. A 50MP camera is present on the front.
The device also features the VS1 and V3+ imaging chips. Vivo will additionally introduce a telephoto subject-tracking feature through a future OTA update.
On the battery side, the smartphone packs an 8000mAh battery and supports 90W wired, 40W wireless and reverse wireless charging. It measures 163.32 × 76.82 × 7.95mm and weighs 225g.
To note, all three smartphones run on Android 17-based OriginOS 7 and feature an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. IP68 and IP69 ratings, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB 3.2 Gen 1, stereo speakers and Hi-Fi audio support are also offered across the lineup.
Pricing and Availability
The Vivo X500 has been priced at CNY 5,499 for its 12GB/256GB variant, CNY 5,999 for the 12GB/512GB model and CNY 6,999 for the 12GB/1TB configuration. Its sale will begin in China on 24th September 2026.
The Vivo X500 Pro carries a price tag of CNY 6,499 for its 12GB/256GB variant, CNY 7,499 for the 12GB/512GB model and CNY 8,499 for the 12GB/1TB configuration. It will go on sale in China starting 29th September 2026.
Coming to the Vivo X500 Pro Max, its 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB and 12GB/1TB variants have been priced at CNY 6,999, CNY 7,999, CNY 8,499 and CNY 8,999, respectively.
A Creator’s Package featuring 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage and satellite communication support has also been introduced for CNY 12,999. The Vivo X500 Pro Max will be available for purchase in China starting 24th September 2026.
