Vivo has now unveiled its latest Vivo T5 5G smartphone in the Indian market, making it the fifth device to join the brand’s T5 series.

Vivo T5 5G – Specifications and Features
Under the hood, the Vivo T5 5G comes equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor, which is the first Vivo smartphone in India to come equipped with this chipset and is claimed to have achieved an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 1.2 million points.
Moreover, the chipset comes with the MediaTek NPU 850 with generative AI support and a dedicated MDLA 5.5 accelerator. Vivo claims that it delivers 233% faster on-device AI performance and can generate around 10 tokens per second while running a 3B-parameter large language model.
Coming to its display, the smartphone features a 6.83-inch 3D curved AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, up to a 144Hz refresh rate, 449 PPI pixel density, and up to 2,000 nits of HBM brightness. The display also supports HDR10+ and has received SGS Low Blue Light, SGS Low Flicker, and SGS Five-Star Sunlight Display certifications.
The Vivo T5 5G is claimed to be the segment’s slimmest smartphone to feature a 3D curved AMOLED display. The brand further claims that it offers the brightest display in its segment.
Furthermore, the device packs a large 7,050mAh battery within a body measuring just 7.99mm in thickness and is claimed to retain its health for up to five years.
At the rear a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with OIS support, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera is given. At the front, the smartphone houses a 32MP selfie camera. The device also offers Multifocal Portrait mode and supports 4K video recording through both the front and rear cameras.
On the software side, the Vivo T5 5G runs OriginOS 6 OS and comes with a promise of three generations of operating system upgrades and five years of security updates for the smartphone.
The device also comes with several AI-powered features. AI Creation can rewrite, summarise, and expand notes into professional content, while AI Transcript Assist can convert audio into text in multiple languages. Office Kit enables synchronisation between the smartphone and Windows or macOS computers, whereas Shake & Share allows users to share pictures, Live Photos, and videos between devices from different brands.
Vivo T5 5G – India Pricing and Availability
This smartphone will be available via Flipkart, Vivo India’s official website, and other major retail stores and will go on sale starting September 9th, 2026, at 12 PM IST. For its colour choices, Royal Bronze and Silver Green colour options are to be offered.
Vivo is offering an instant bank discount of up to ₹4,000 using eligible HDFC Bank, SBI Card, and Axis Bank cards. The company will also offer no-cost EMI options for up to six months, though these offers are going to be available exclusively for one day only.
