Vivo has now added the Vivo T4 Ultra to its T4 series in the Indian market. This is the third smartphone in the series, following the launch of the Vivo T4 and Vivo T4x. In addition, the Vivo T4 Lite is also in the pipeline — while not officially confirmed, it has made headlines through recent leaks.
But for now, let’s focus on the Vivo T4 Ultra, which has officially launched today.
Vivo T4 Ultra: Specifications and Features
The launch brings several firsts to the segment, including the debut of the Sony IMX921 rear camera sensor and the segment’s first 10x telephoto macro lens.
The device features a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera, capable of 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital Hyperzoom. An 8MP ultra-wide and a 32MP front camera complement the setup. vivo also introduces five prime portrait focal lengths, along with AI-driven tools like AI Aura Light Portrait 2.0 and AI Erase 2.0, to enhance the mobile photography experience.
Powering the T4 Ultra is the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC, making it the most powerful smartphone in the T series to date. The chipset is paired with a 12-core GPU, support for 90fps in BGMI, and vivo’s Lightning-Speed Engine 2.0. Built on the 4nm TSMC process, the device boasts an AnTuTu score exceeding 2 million and features a 90W fast-charging battery system with dual-extension RAM support.
The front is dominated by a 6.67-inch 1.5K Quad Curved AMOLED display, offering 120Hz refresh rate and up to 5000 nits peak brightness. The screen is designed with eye-comfort features like Anti-Fatigue Brightness, SGS Low Blue Light Certification, and Night Eye Protection Mode.
In terms of durability, the phone comes with an IP64 rating, improved drop-resistant Shield Glass, and dual stereo speakers for immersive media. Design-wise, the T4 Ultra is offered in two colours: Phoenix Gold and Meteor Grey, crafted using Enamel Glass and AG Glass, respectively.
On the software front, the T4 Ultra runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, packed with AI features such as Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Circle to Search, and Call Translation. vivo promises three years of Android updates and four years of security patches.
