Vivo launched the S50t 5G smartphone back in May this year, which itself arrived as a rebranded version of the Vivo S50. Well, the brand has now introduced yet another model in the lineup called the Vivo S50t Vitality Edition in China. This new smartphone again comes with almost the same set of specifications, though this time with a change in the RAM standard.

Read more about it below.

Vivo S50t Vitality Edition – Specs and Features

Starting with the display, the Vivo S50t Vitality Edition features a 6.59-inch flat AMOLED display with a resolution of 2750 × 1260 pixels and support for up to a 120Hz refresh rate. It also offers up to a 2,000Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset paired with the Adreno 735 GPU. It comes with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage, while 12GB Memory Fusion support is also present.

Now, this is where the major difference between the Vivo S50t and the new Vitality Edition comes in. While the Vivo S50t uses LPDDR5X RAM, the newly launched Vivo S50t Vitality Edition is reported to come with LPDDR5 RAM. Apart from this change, most of the core specifications remain the same.

The main, periscope, and front cameras also support video recording at up to 4K resolution.

Coming to the battery, the Vivo S50t Vitality Edition packs a 6,500mAh typical battery with support for 90W FlashCharge. However, wireless charging is not supported on the device.

Other features include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, aluminium alloy middle frame, glass back, stereo speakers, X-axis linear motor, NFC, IR remote, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. The smartphone runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box and does not support microSD card expansion.

Pricing and Availability

Speaking of its pricing, the Vivo S50t Vitality Edition is available in two memory variants. The 12GB/256GB variant is priced at CNY 3,299, while the 12GB/512GB variant carries a price tag of CNY 3,599.

The smartphone comes in four colour options – Deep Space Black, Inspiration Purple, Confession White and Yoyo/Serene Blue (translated from Chinese to English) and is currently available for purchase in China.

So, in comparison with the Vivo S50t, the newly launched Vitality Edition largely retains the same hardware, with the noticeable change being the switch from LPDDR5X to LPDDR5 RAM.
