OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite Receives IMDA Certification

The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer OnePlus is likely to launch two new smartphones very soon and one of the smartphones, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G has received the IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) certification from Singapore.

The mid-range smartphone has also been tipped by the tipster Max Jambor to launch on the 4th of April 2023 in the global market and the Indian website of OnePlus had already featured the upcoming smartphone in its website. Taking into consideration all these, we can expect an imminent launch of the smartphone as tipped by Max Jambor.

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G, the other smartphone in the series has also now received the BIS Indian certification and has been spotted on the certification with a model number of CPH2467. The BIS listing might also be indicated at the launch of the smartphone and has also confirmed that the device will launch in the Indian market as well.

The design and the renders of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G smartphone were leaked by 91mobiles from where some of its features were known. The upcoming smartphone has a flat display and a flat rear panel with flat edges that are curved at the corners. Speaking of the display, the device has a punch hole centrally aligned selfie camera with slim bezels on all four of its side which is a bit thick at the bottom.

Now on the rear, we get to see the OnePlus branding along with the rear camera setup. The device has two circular rings placed on the top-left corner of the smartphone in a vertical manner, of which the first ring houses the main camera and the two additional cameras are housed by the second camera ring. An LED flash can also be seen on the right side of the two cameras as well.

It is on the right-side panel we get to see the power button which is also a fingerprint sensor. The volume rocker is on the left side panel with the microphone, loudspeaker, USB type-C port, and audio jack all placed at the bottom. There is also a second mic, which is on the top of the smartphone.

Based on the article published on 91mobiles, the smartphone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset and will have the Android 13-based custom UI out of the box.

The smartphone is also likely to feature a 6.7″ IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. However, it is also to be noted here that the previous OnePlus Nord CE 2 smartphone offered its users an AMOLED display panel.

Now about the cameras, the smartphone will have a triple camera setup on its rear and is expected to have a main camera of 108MP along with two additional cameras of 2MP each. On the front, we can also expect a 16MP selfie camera as well.

The upcoming device is also expected to have a 5000 mAh battery which will probably support a 67W fast charging feature.
