TECNO launched the POVA 8 Pro 5G in global markets on August 13th, 2026, followed by its Indian debut on August 18th. The brand has now unveiled the TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition, which has been created under its multi-year partnership with Tonino Lamborghini.
While its hardware specifications remain the same as those of the standard POVA 8 Pro 5G, the main differences lie in its rear-panel design, customised interface, animations, and other exclusive elements.

TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition – Design
The limited-edition smartphone features a black-and-red colour scheme inspired by energy and performance. Its rear panel combines Tonino Lamborghini’s signature Shield hexagonal pattern with a Pulse Line design inspired by mechanical precision and kinetic energy.
The smartphone features a dual-layer rear-panel construction with internal mirror structures that refract and redirect light, creating a physical depth across the rear panel.
It further sports a premium metallic Tonino Lamborghini logo and a Trinity rear-camera module and measures just 7.39mm in thickness.
This special ediiton smartphone also featuring a custom black-and-red interface with glass-like icons, a Pulse Line boot animation, and an exclusive Tonino Lamborghini ringtone.
Its Alive Matrix Display also comes with a customised ‘L’ signature lighting effect.
With its dedicated One-Tap Button you can configure it to launch favourite applications, activate gaming actions, and access other shortcuts.

Coming to its performance, the TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G chipset and is paired with TECNO’s P1 Graphic Chip, resulting in a dual-chip architecture.
The setup is designed to improve gaming performance, multitasking, and power efficiency. The smartphone supports gaming at up to 144fps in compatible titles such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG, Call of Duty, and Honor of Kings.
It can also deliver up to 90fps gameplay in demanding titles such as Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Wuthering Waves. The device further supports 1.5K gaming across more than 30 games and HDR gaming in compatible titles.
To manage heat betterm, TECNO has equipped this smartphone with a 5K IceShield vapour-chamber cooling system, a 5,000mm² vapour chamber, a nine-layer thermal architecture, and direct copper contact with the processor. Its total heat-dissipation area exceeds 22,000mm².
Coming to its display, the device features a 6.78″ HyperLux AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz, DCI-P3 wide colour-gamut coverage, and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness and also supports Wet & Oily Finger Touch Recognition 2.0.
For photography, the smartphone houses a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C primary camera which comes poaired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, while the front houses a 13MP selfie camera.
The device packs a 6,500mAh battery that is claimed to retain more than 80% of its health after 2,000 complete charging cycles and offer a lifespan of up to six years.
The smartphone further comes with AI YouTube Summary, which can recognise copied YouTube links, create notes with timeline markers, extract key points, and generate structured summaries.
Its All-Scenario Noise Cancellation feature recognises the intended speaker’s voiceprint and filters environmental noise and other background voices. Dedicated modes are available for calls, recordings, and meetings.
AI LightMaster 2.0 can remove unwanted lens flares, reflections, and shadows from images. Meanwhile, AI Health, which will be available in select markets, uses a facial scan to measure blood pressure, blood-oxygen saturation, heart rate, and respiration.
Other AI features include AI Writing for rewriting, polishing, and summarising text, along with an AI Theme Generator for creating customised smartphone themes.
For durability, the device comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water-resistance ratings, and SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance certification.
This smartphone runs on HiOS 16 and has been promised two major Android OS upgrades and three years of security patches.

The TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition comes with 256GB of free cloud storage for three years.
Eligible users in select markets will also receive a complimentary three-month Google AI Plus trial. The subscription includes access to additional Google AI features and 2TB of cloud storage.
