Samsung Galaxy F56 5G launched in India with 6.7” Full HD+ sAMOLED+ display, Exynos 1480 Soc, and two memory options

Samsung earlier launched the Galaxy M56 5G in the Indian market via Amazon. As is usually the case, the Galaxy F56 5G has now followed, launching today in India with the same specifications as the Galaxy M56. At the time of its launch, the Galaxy M56 5G was priced at ₹24,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, inclusive of all bank offers. However, the price has since returned to ₹27,999. In comparison, the Galaxy F56 5G is priced at ₹25,999, which includes a ₹2,000 bank discount. Apart from pricing, the specifications and features remain identical.

Samsung Galaxy F56 Specs and Features

It features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen can reach up to 1200 nits brightness and includes Vision Booster for better visibility in sunlight. It’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both sides. The phone has a glass back and metal camera design and comes in Green and Violet colour options.

The device runs on Samsung’s Exynos 1480 processor paired with LPDDR5X RAM. It supports 5G connectivity and includes a cooling chamber to help manage heat during tasks like gaming or streaming.

For photography, the Galaxy F56 5G offers a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 12MP HDR front camera. It supports 4K video recording at 30 FPS in 10-bit HDR. The camera system includes features like Big Pixel Technology, Low Noise Mode, and AI-based processing to improve low-light shots. Tools like Portrait 2.0 with 2X zoom and AI-based editing options such as Object Eraser and Edit Suggestions are also included.

The phone has a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. It ships with One UI 7 and is set to receive 6 years of security updates and 6 generations of Android OS upgrades. One UI 7 includes changes like a simplified home screen, updated widgets, and a new Now Bar that displays useful info on the lock screen. It also includes deeper integration with Google Gemini for voice-based controls.

For security, Samsung includes its Knox Vault system, which is hardware-based. The phone also supports Samsung Wallet with Tap & Pay for contactless payments.
