Just 4 days ago, news emerged that OnePlus is planning to launch its next tablet, the OnePlus Pad 2, in the second half of this year. Now, Max Jambor, a reliable tipster, is back with more details about the chipset that will power this upcoming tablet.
According to him, OnePlus is opting for a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for the OnePlus Pad 2. On the other hand, Oppo is also in the works with its next tablet. Recently, DCS updated that Oppo will also launch its next tablet with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and may feature a 12″ screen.

It seems like the OnePlus Pad 2 could potentially be released as a rebranded Oppo Pad 3. DCS also mentioned that Oppo initially planned to launch Oppo Pad 3 in Q2 of 2024 but later delayed it. Therefore, we can anticipate the Oppo Pad 3 to debut in the Chinese market first before potentially being launched as OnePlus Pad 2.
