Redmi Turbo 5 Indian Variant – Camera Specs Confirmed
The new Redmi Turbo 5 smartphone from Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is already confirmed to launch for Indian customers on the 16th of June, and as mentioned, it will be made available via Amazon India and the Redmi India website. Speaking more, the updated microsite now carries the tagline – “Fast Enough to Capture What Your Eyes Miss”, and below this, the brand has confirmed the camera specs that will be offered on the device.

As per what has been revealed, the Redmi Turbo 5 Indian variant will feature a 50MP main rear camera with OIS and EIS support, and it will be paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera as well. At the front, the device has also been given a 20MP selfie camera. These are the same camera specs that were seen on its other variant that was launched earlier, giving another reason to believe that this could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5’s Chinese variant.
Apart from the camera details, the microsite had already revealed that the upcoming device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC, and it will be coupled with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, including 12GB of virtual RAM. Its internal storage will also be based on UFS 4.1.
However, the fine print mentions that the LPDDR5X Ultra RAM will only be available on the higher variant, though the exact variant has not been revealed yet. Additionally, the white colour option has now been confirmed, and it features red accents around the camera module, while the Redmi badge has also been given in the same colour.
