Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi had already confirmed that it will be launching the Redmi Turbo 5 in the country, and now the brand has also confirmed its launch date along with a few key specs of this handset as well.

Redmi Turbo 5 – India Launch Confirmed, Key Specs Also Revealed
As per the updated Amazon’s microsite, the device will break cover in the Indian market on June 16, which an earlier leaked marketing poster had already revealed, and now it has been officially confirmed. Coming to the specs, the site confirms that the device will boot on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC, which will be paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, including 12GB of virtual RAM, while its internal storage will be based on UFS 4.1.
However, the fine print reads that the LPDDR5X Ultra RAM will only be available on the higher variant, though it does not reveal the exact variant. Additionally, the white colour option has now been confirmed, and it features red accents around the camera module, with the Redmi badge also in the same colour.
Other than this, the site mentions several placeholders for other specs, which will likely be revealed soon as the launch date has now been announced. Earlier rumours claim that the device will come with similar specs as that of the Chinese variant, which also arrived with the same design and the SoC that has now been confirmed today.
