Redmi Turbo 5’s Indian Variant – Battery and a Few Display Specs Revealed
As per the updated microsite, the Redmi Turbo 5 Indian variant is now revealed to be coming with a 7540mAh battery, along with 100W HyperCharge fast charging support. Speaking more, the device is also teased to feature a 120Hz fluid display with 1.5K resolution.
Now, a detail to notice here is that the battery section inside the microsite does not mention any information about the battery capacity. However, outside the section, there is a banner that mentions the 7540mAh battery capacity of the device.
Here is where the tussle comes in, because the Indian variant is likely to come with the same set of specs as that of the variant launched in China, and most of the teased specs have also pointed in the same direction. The battery size that comes with the Chinese variant is 7560mAh, and if we go by this newly-teased poster, then there is a 20mAh difference between the two variants.
As per what has been revealed so far about the Indian variant, the Redmi Turbo 5 will feature a 50MP main rear camera with OIS and EIS support, and this will be paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera as well. At the front, the device has also been given a 20MP selfie camera.
Apart from the camera details, the microsite had already revealed that the upcoming device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC, and it will be coupled with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, including 12GB of virtual RAM. Its internal storage will also be based on UFS 4.1.
However, the fine print mentions that the LPDDR5X Ultra RAM will only be available on the higher variant, though the exact variant has not been revealed yet.
Stay tuned for more updates.
