The Redmi Pad 2 has officially launched in the Indian market today, and it is available in both Wi-Fi-only and LTE variants. The tablet had already been introduced globally with the same configuration options.

It comes equipped with the Redmi Smart Pen, designed to inspire creativity. It boasts the biggest battery on an 11-inch tablet with a massive 9000mAh capacity, promising all-day and more battery life. Supporting 18W fast charging, the device is built for extended use, whether it’s for streaming, gaming, or working.
The tablet features a crystal-clear 2.5K display with 274 pixels per inch and up to 600 nits of brightness in outdoor mode. It is claimed to be the segment’s best display, offering vivid visuals, sharp details, and reduced noise, perfect for both productivity and entertainment. It also includes a 90Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate, ensuring smoother interactions and visuals.
Under the hood, it’s powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra chipset, offering up to 80% faster GPU performance compared to the Redmi Pad SE. It supports up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, expandable up to 2TB. The tablet is designed for performance-intensive tasks, from multitasking to gaming.
With quad speakers, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res Audio support, the tablet promises an immersive audio experience, claimed to provide up to 270 hours of non-stop music streaming (with wired headphones). The tablet is available in two stylish colour options, Sky Blue and Graphite Grey.
It has been launched at a starting price of ₹12,999, inclusive of Rs 1000 offers and discounts. The official sale begins on 24th June 2025, exclusively via Amazon India,Flipkart and other major retailers. Please note that the Redmi Smart Pen will be sold separately.
