Redmi Note 17 series confirmed to launch in China on 14th July; Redmi Note 17 Pro features teased
Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi recently teased the upcoming launch of its latest Redmi Note 17 series, and lately alleged Redmi Note 17 series devices have also been spotted on various certification websites.
Today, Redmi has officially announced the launch date of this upcoming series and has also teased some features of the Redmi Note 17 Pro model.
Redmi Note 17 Series: China launch date confirmed
The smartphone series will launch in China on 14th July at 19:00 (local time). The teaser image reveals the first look of two upcoming models under this series: Redmi Note 17 Pro in Blue and Redmi Note 17 in Purple finish.
The pre-orders for this series have officially started in the country.
Redmi Note 17 Pro: Features teased
The Pro model is revealed to arrive in Sky Blue colour option. It uses a blue light tone, a delicate gradient, and a misty texture to capture the lightness of clouds blending with the morning light.
The device is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and it challenges industry standards with its 3m marble drop resistance. It has also received SGS & CQC Gold Label dual five-star drop resistance certification. The smartphone comes with an IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K rating and also boasts a TUV SUD 2m 72-hour waterproof certification.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro withstands a severe water resistance test, enduring prolonged exposure to ultra-high-pressure water jets capable of lifting a car.
