Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi will unveil its latest Redmi Note 17 series today in the Chinese market at 7 PM (local time). The brand has already revealed a lot of details related to the Redmi Note 17 and Note 17 Pro models.

Just a few hours before the official launch of these devices, Redmi has shared their colour options.

Redmi Note 17 & Note 17 Pro: Colour options teased

The Redmi Note 17 is already confirmed to arrive in the Meteor Purple colour option. There will be another colour variant: Light Blue, which looks like water flowing over a green mountain shadow.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro will arrive in a Nebula Purple colour that evokes the approaching twilight, the lingering sunset and the first hints of night.

Coming to the previously revealed details, the Redmi Note 17’s OLED display will support a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1200 nits of global brightness, and Xiaomi’s Green Mountain Eye Protection technology. It will also support health data sharing, album sharing, and location sharing features.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 17 Pro will be offering a free five-year battery upgrade guarantee with the Redmi Note 17 Pro during its first sale. Under this benefit, users will be eligible for a free battery replacement within the first four years if the battery health falls below 80%. During the fifth year, users will be provided with a free large-battery upgrade if the battery health falls below the mentioned level.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro smartphone’s 1.5K flat display will also use flagship-grade luminescent materials, support the Super Sunlight display mode with up to 3500 nits of brightness, and offer low-light eye protection with brightness levels going as low as 1 nit.

The upcoming Pro model is further claimed to offer five years of smooth performance optimization, aided by real-time dynamic performance adjustment and multiple memory management technologies. AI-based anti-fraud and anti-deepfake protection features will also be present on the device.

Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, SGS and CQC Gold Label dual five-star drop resistance certifications, IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, and TÜV SÜD 2-metre 72-hour waterproof certification are some of itss addiitonal detail confimed by the brand.
