Redmi K90 Smartphone 6.59″ Display, 2.5x Telephoto Camera, 7100 mAh Battery, 100W Charging, and Other Upgrades Teased; Eason Chan Announced as Redmi Acoustic Ambassador
After teasing multiple specs and features concerning the Redmi K90 Pro Max smartphone, the Chinese smartphone maker has turned its attention towards the standard Redmi K90 and has dropped teasers about its upgrades, design, display, and color choices. Additionally, Eason Chan has also taken his place as Redmi’s Acoustic Ambassador.

Redmi K90 – Teased Upgrades, Design, Display, and Color Choices
As per the newly-shared teasers, the upcoming Redmi K90 smartphone is pointed out to offer five key upgrades this time. These include the integrated cold-sculpting process (same as the iPhone 17), Super Pixel Technology (same as the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max), 1115 symmetrical dual speakers + Sound by Bose co-tuning, 2.5x golden telephoto lens (for the first time), and the 7100 mAh battery backup along with the 100W wired fast charging support.
Furthermore, a 6.59″ golden medium size display has been given on it, and it is revealed to be user-friendly and easy-to-use with one hand. An adult’s thumb radius can cover the entire screen, and the big screen promises more immersive horizontal screen visuals. An ultra-high screen-to-body ratio of 94% is also a notable spec, and the screen has a visually equilateral design. A wrapped metal middle frame, symmetrical antenna bands of the same body color, and Purple/White color choices are also revealed to be its features. Also to add, design renders of both the Purple and White color variants have also been shared, and their design aspects are also showcased.
Eason Chan Appointed as Redmi’s Acoustic Ambassador
The Hong Kong-based singer and actor – Eason Chan has now taken charge as the Acoustic Ambassador for Redmi. The 2.1 stereo sound system of the Redmi K90 Pro Max, as well as the Redmi K90’s design, performance, screen, and Sound by Bose co-tuning have also been praised in the teasers featuring him.
Regarding the launch, the Redmi K90 series consisting of the Redmi K90 and the Redmi K90 Pro Max models are scheduled to debut in the Chinese market tomorrow on the 23rd of October 2025. The new Redmi K Pad Golden White color variant and the Redmi Watch 6 smartwatch are also going to be introduced on the same day itself, alongside the mentioned smartphones.
