Redmi K90 Pro Max Teased to Feature 6.9″ Super Pixel Display, Light Hunter 950 Main Camera Sensor, and More; Redmi K Pad New Golden White Color Variant to Launch Alongside in China
The Redmi K90 series launch in the Chinese market will be taking place this month in October 2025 and two days back, the Redmi Watch 6 was also revealed to launch along with it. On the same day, a new color variant for the Redmi K Pad tablet will also be introduced in the brand’s home country. Additionally, teaser updates concerning the Redmi K90 Pro Max smartphone’s display and camera specs have also been revealed.

Redmi K90 Pro Max – Newly-Shared Teaser Updates
As per the newly-shared teasers, the Redmi K90 Pro Max smartphone is revealed to feature a 6.9″ Super Pixel Display with full RGB arrangement and it is claimed to offer the same display experience as that of the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max smartphone. The newly-upgraded Xiaomi Qingshan Eye Protection 3.0, 1-nit ultra-dark light protection, full brightness DC, and circularly polarized light 2.0 are more about its added display aspects.
On the camera side, Redmi’s K90 Pro Max smartphone will be sporting the Light Hunter 950 main camera sensor with a size of 1/1.31″ (same as the Xiaomi 17), boasting a 13.5EV high dynamic range, DXG high dynamic technology, and 1G+6P glass-plastic hybrid lens which reduces glare. It will also be packing Redmi’s very first 5x periscope telephoto camera lens which will offer 5x optical zoom, 10x lossless zoom, and OIS image stabilization. The triple camera system is completed with the 50MP ultra-wide camera (same as the Xiaomi 17). Also, 4K shooting has been teased for the upcoming device. Along with the camera specs, the brand has shared camera samples depicting the Redmi K90 Pro Max smartphone’s imaging quality.
Redmi K Pad – New Golden White Color Variant Launching on 23rd October 2025 in China
Both the Redmi K90 series and the Redmi Watch 6 products are confirmed to break their covers on the 23rd of October 2025 for Chinese customers and on the same day, the brand has now confirmed to bring out a new Golden White color variant for its June 2025-released Redmi K Pad tablet. Metallic paint spray process (for richer color presentation) and ultra-fine nano-scale mica and metal particles are used for its making. Moreover, key specs such as the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip, flagship 8.8″ 3K LCD display, 3K super full-frame resolution for open world games, four voice coils, symmetrical dual speakers, and dual X-axis linear motor have been teased for the new color variant as well.
