Xiaomis sub-brand Redmi has today officially unveiled its latest budget friendly smartphone in Indian market- Redmi A4 5G. This is the first smartphone in India that is powered by Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 SoC.

Redmi A4 5G: Specifications
The device sports a 6.88 inch D+ display that offers a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 600 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 SoC that is paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64/128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. It runs on Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14. The smartphone is backed by a 5160mAh battery that supports 18W charging. It packs up a 50MP main rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. The device is said to receive 2 years of software updates and 4 years of security updates.
Other features include- dual SIM, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB Type-C port, and 4 GB virtual RAM. The smartphone features a premium-looking halo glass back design. It measures 171.88×77.80×8.22mm and weighs 212.35g.
