Nubia’s gaming sub-brand REDMAGIC has confirmed that its REDMAGIC 12 Pro+ smartphone will launch in the Chinese market on the 15th of October, and the device is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. The brand has now teased its upcoming global release as well, with the REDMAGIC 12 Pro moniker being mentioned in the teaser.

REDMAGIC 12 Pro – Global Launch Teased, AquaCore Feature Hinted
As mentioned, REDMAGIC has shared a new teaser through its verified X account, @redmagicgaming, and the text “PROJECT_12_PRO LOADING…” points towards the upcoming global debut of the REDMAGIC 12 Pro smartphone.
Additionally, the name ‘AquaCore’ has been revealed alongside the tagline “A core that flows.”, showcasing a glowing circular core surrounded by water, ice, clouds, and blue lighting, suggesting that the feature could be related to the device’s cooling system.

Speaking more about the upcoming smartphone, the REDMAGIC 12 Pro+ is set to make its debut in China on the 15th of October, while the global teaser suggests that the device will be offered outside China under the REDMAGIC 12 Pro moniker. Similar to the RedMagic 11 Pro+ which came to global markets as RedMagic 11 Pro, we may see a drop in wired charging speed as well, though it is yet to be confirmed.
With the Chinese launch approaching and the global teaser now live, more details regarding the AquaCore feature and the smartphone’s availability may be revealed soon.
