With only two days left for its launch, new details about the RedMagic 12 Pro+ smartphone have now been officially revealed. This time, the brand has shared more about its upgraded ICE cooling system, which will be combining air- and liquid-cooling technologies.
Here’s more about the update.
RedMagic 12 Pro+ – Cooling System Details Revealed
About the cooling system, the RedMagic 12 Pro+ will be equipping RGB liquid-cooling technology with customisable lighting effects and a dual-loop liquid flow-path design. Its cooling area will cover the air duct, chipset, battery, and other core components of the device.
Furthermore, server-grade fluorinated coolant and a dual-crystal liquid-cooling micropump will be part of the setup. The micropump is claimed to consume 20mW of power while delivering a pressure output of 130kPa.

Regarding the active cooling fan, the device will be featuring the Drive Wind 5.0 fan with speeds of up to 25,500rpm. A labyrinth-style dust-resistant fan structure has also been revealed, along with IPX8 water resistance. Additionally, the through-body air duct is said to cover a larger cooling area.
The RedMagic 12 Pro+ will also be making use of embedded composite liquid metal 4.0, which is positioned to make direct contact with the primary heat source. An ultra-thin aerospace-grade steel graphene layer and a 4D Ice-Step vapour chamber with a dual-sided raised design will also be included in the cooling setup.
Speaking more, the brand has revealed screen copper foil, an aerospace-grade aluminium middle frame, thermal silica, and high-conductivity thermal gel as the other elements of its cooling system.
With the launch just two days away, we’ll be able to learn more about the device and its remaining details soon. Stay tuned until then.
